Kings Mountain National Military Park: this park is often called �the turn of the tide of sucess� bu Thomas Jefferson. The battle of the kings Mountain fought in 1780 asan important victory for the Americans against the British during the American War for Independence. The battle is the first major patriotic victory after the British invasion of Charleston in may 1780. This is one of the most important national parks in South Carolina.
